Hello,

If possible could someone add a tab to the prefpane where one could choose the size and font of their subtitles.

i think one should be able to chose the size and font of their subtitles. Some people like them smaller some bigger, some like them a bit transparent.

was just an idea tho.

Also video files with higher resoltion show smaller subtitles size ... A 720p MKV renders very small text and a 624x352 AVI renders very large text. It would be very nice to be able to set a font size independent of video resolution. Thanx

The size problems are just justification for fixing the auto detection. We've opted to go with the more difficult route of making auto detection just work so that people don't have to think about subtitles, other than disabling them if they don't want them.

Transparency is something we're not going to have.
