When playing videos in Front Row, subtitles do not appear for any Matroska video.

Subtitles are supported in matroska, just not all formats.

Be more specific.

I'd guess he means that, since the movie starts playing as soon as possible, the subtitles hasn't been loaded yet.

I've got the same problem, but not just only in Frontrow. If i open a Movie with a SSA Text Subtitle all of the subtitle i can see are some very small white lines in the middle of the position the subtitles should be.

The subtitles normaly have the Dimension 640x480 with 16Million Colors.

I use the Quicktime Version 7.2.

My Problem is solved with the latest SVN Sources! SSA Subtitles in Matroska now play without problems in Quicktime.
