iTunes crashes with 1.1b1

It seems that after I installed 1.1b1 it is making iTunes 7.6 crash (quicktime pro 7.4 is installed). The app crashes and then a popup appears that says:

"The applications iTunes quit unexpectedly after it was relaunched. The problem may have been caused by the Perian plug-in."

I have the text of the crash reports that go to apple when you click the "Report..." button. I am not sure if you want that or if I should post it here.

Basically, what happens is that I open iTunes and I . . . . let me back-up. . . I have a system where I create video files and then open them and save them to MOV files. I then put them in iTunes. At some point I want to move them out and so I make playlists and start to move the files I want to burn to DVD into the playlist. While I was doing that today (right after I installed 1.1b1) I would move some files over and then the program would crash. This is repeatable.

If you want to know anything else or get the "crash text" please let me know.

If you have QT Pro, open one of them, click the checked subtitle track and hit "Extract"; that movie will be enough.
