When using Perian 1.1 (this also happened with 1.0), go here: http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/itoner/

Look at the QuickTime movie that plays. There is a green horizontal line along the bottom of the movie playback.

That video has odd dimensions… I thought that was illegal.

  • resolution set to fixed.

(In [826]) Perform color conversion on final line if the height is an odd number of pixels. Tested on intel, should work on others as well. Fixes #307
