Perian won't play h.264-formatted avi files.

Description

Whenever I try to play an avi movie which is encoded in H.264 video codec. The movies I try to watch are from the Danish TV show Jungledyret Hugo, and all that shows up is a white screen.

Works here. Make sure the info window actually says "H.264 (perian)" otherwise perian isn't playing it and you don't have it properly installed (or you didn't restart the player after installation).

It does say H.264 (perian) in the info panel. Also, if the movie doesn't have a subtitle file, it's just black for me. I'm using an Intel processor, if that means anything.
