Description

i'm experiencing audio playback issues on certain avi files. i noticed in the latest release notes that a comment was made about an avi file on your end having the same problem.

i'm more then happy to provide the avi file to you, however it's definately deserving of the "nfsw" moniker.

please let me know if i can provide more details

What kind of NSFW is it?

Replying to tick:

What kind of NSFW is it?

porn, but nothing too outrageous :)

the audio is garbled, with random popping noises - not sure if that helps any further or not.

Hold onto your porn, we'll figure out how we want to support you on it. I'd like to get this fixed.

heh - ok. one other piece of info that might be useful...

i had the divx and either the 3ivx or the xvid components installed before i installed perian and the avi played correctly. it wasn't until after i installed perian that i experienced this issue.

i deleted those components from the quicktime "plugin" folder thinking there might be a conflict, but that didn't seem to resolve the issue.
