Description

Just thought it would be nice if you could figure out some method by which having Perian installed would allow you to associate various file types to the QuickTime Player - similar to how the Flip4Mac plugin works, allowing the icon and launch behavior to mimic native QuickTime file types.

Otherwise, keep up the great work!

I'd rather avoid the issue that Flip4Mac has stating that QuickTime Player is not installed when using it on Snow Leopard (since the filename changed). There's also #163
