Newest version just does not work for me

I'm on a Macbook Pro OS 10.6.2

Everything worked fine until I did the update this morning. None of my files that previously worked play in Front Row or Quicktime Player.

I did the update when prompted this morning and it automatically downloaded. When I realized it wasn't working I went to the site and downloaded it and installed it manually and it still doesn't work.

Likely didn't quit the apps. If that's not it, there's is 0 useful information, so this cannot be diagnosed further, so closing unless provided information otherwise.
