Description

The VP3 codec is available as a QuickTime component, but is PPC only. The source code is available at www.vp3.com, but is a CodeWarrior? project and therefore not straightforward to download, tweak (presumably necessary to avoid endian issues) and build for an Intel system. A sample .mov with vp3 video and aac audio is available here:  http://www.assj59.dsl.pipex.com/HitchHikersGuideToTheGalaxyTrailer.mov.

VLC is able to play this file.
